Our facilities

At Alberta Feed Grain, we had our start trading grain from farm bins and bought our first elevator, located in Barrhead, two decades ago. That first elevator opened up many new opportunities to let us handle grains of different moistures and qualities. In Barrhead, we have 2,500 tonnes of storage capacity and are able to dry 500 bushels per hour.

Our state-of-the-art Westlock facility has expanded rapidly and is now our main location. With 30,000 tonnes of storage and 1000 bushels per hour of drying capacity, we can handle a lot of grain very quickly.

Because we're farmers too, we know that crops don't always go as planned and we can respond quickly to crop challenges that come your way. Whether you have green canola as a result of an early frost, light bushel weights, spring thresh or extremely high moisture, we will come up with a solution to get the grain right off the combine and make the best of a tough situation. We're creative and nimble and we pride ourselves on never rejecting a load.
